Sorry about the slow reply, i've been a bit vacant on GS.
I'm in a totally different room now. I cant remember the exact dimensions of the previous room but it was approx 10-11ft wide by 15ft or so.
I do lots of electronic music as well (on focal twin 6's). I have 3 of the thin panels, 4 of the bass traps and then 1 monster trap. That setup made a huge difference in every room i've been in. Currently i have a 1200 sqft loft (60x20ft) and my setup is in the very middle of the space firing width wise. All the trapping i have up in here are the 4 bass traps and 2 of the thin panels behind my monitors and even that makes a surprising difference on cleaning up the sound.
In the smaller room the only thing which would have been nice would be a few more of the thinner panels to have 2-3 per side on the walls.
Hi Tobias, I was reading through a GIK Acoustics review thread and I came across your post. I am looking into getting a room kit to treat my 10ft Width X 13ft Length X 9ft Height mixing room. I do lots of mixing under the 300hz range (Electronic music) and I was curious as to your current room setup. I am unsure about which room kit to purchase and I know I must test the room first myself but I was hoping you could provide some additional insight. Much appreciated!
