Hi,

I noticed on an old forum post you mentioned that you can use an attenuator with the Neve 1073 DPD unit, between the line out and the insert, in order to run the preamp hotter. Would a cheap in-line attenuator do the trick? would in need a specific level of attenuation? Is this even necessary in order to get the neve colouration?

I see that you have an AKG c426b for sale. I'm not trying to be insulting, I know that they are very expensive and you've reduced the price already but would you consider 1700 euro? Or what do you consider a kick ass compressor? Tim Campbell
