Hey. Its kind of fancy. Its basically a dual M269c. The M269c is an alternate version of the U67 with an AC701 tube in it. So this is a dual tube mic with two U67 style capsules that can be rotated to any orientation. That said some of them can be purchased for the price of a single U67 mainly due to the name associated with the U67. Having to stretch my dollar i tried one out locally and had to have the mic. The power supply has seperate polar pattern control for each capsule. Its a totally nutso awesome mic for anything. Hope that helps
Hey man! Thanks again for responding on that thread about mics. I just wanted to ask about ur Neumann SM69, and didn't wanna bog down that thread anymore. I don't know much about it. Is it a dynamic mic? Is it a side address mic like most condencers, or is it a top address like the Shure SM57. I was just curious having never used one, or heard what it can do.
