Thanks heaps for the reply. I've been doing loads of research in regards to bass trapping and will go with high density rockwool as it is easily obtain here (Dublin , Ireland). 4- 6 inch traps and panels to kill the reflection and flutter echo.

Would love to see your designs on the traps. I was looking at doing basic frames for myself but if you have any advice on them aswell I would be much appreciated! Only if you get time, no need to rush as I wont be doing any making of the traps to well into the new year.

Im rebuilding my studio as we speak. Im making the controlroom a bit bigger with absorber cloud etc. The wallpanels are from Vicoustic Portugal. They dont do much in the low end so I have been building frames filled with high density fiberglass ( 10-20cm) (8inches) and fitted the vicoustic in front for astetics purposes .

There is very few companies that make good basstraps. Basstraps need rigid mass to be effective. The weight is to high for companies to send all over the world and still be able to make good money. Thats why they make light "basstraps" that hardly do anything.

I saw pictures of your studio and I have to say - your place looks amazing! I was hoping you could give me some info on the wall panels you have on the walls at your refelction points. Did you make them yourself etc. I'm in the middle of changing the 3rd bedroom in my apartment and looking at ways (as well as bass trapping etc) to control the room.

Any advice would be appreciated.
