Hey John, I just wanted to thank you for the advice. Looks like you're in the Bay area as well. I'm a fairly recent transplant from LA and the heads up on the local guitar stores is much appreciated!

    hi jon…

i live in brazil and am about to have a recording session in RAK studios london, end of the month. they have a studer a 800 mkIII available there, but i have no idea as to where i can get a hold on tape/reel… i've searched online but seem not to know exactly how/where to look…

there also is very little organized technical data on the tapes themselves (such as how long they record, etc.)…

    can you help?

    thanks so much…

    greetings,
    leonardo

    You said:
"When my new album comes out I'll let you know. Hope you like old fashioned country."

I even have a "Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys" T-shirt. Granted, that's western, not country.
