Matt, your songs are dope. I don't care about Slate emulations, but his aggressive marketing and cyber bullying are too much.

I have visited NOLA 2 years ago and played few gigs with band called "Mumbles" ( Keith Burnstein - keys / vocals and Ethan Shorter -drums )
Loved the city, vibe and local musicians are great.
All the best. For every post of yours on this Slate guy there are 100's of people who agree with YOU.
No way those emulation plugins can replicate real desks and hardware. I dont use plugins period, only analog console and hardware. Tried ITB with plugns for 3 years - Ain't nobody got time for that. Never going back.

Hardware is the future. All the best with your work.

Can't wait to see your project Matt. I'm working with a good friend of mine on building a studio here in south MS about 1 1/5 hrs drive from you in Ocean Springs, MS. He used to be the head sound engineer @ Tips & HOB. We'll have to get over there and check you out, and vice versa.

I listened to your band's music btw.... killer man. Love your guitar stylings and tone. And damn, I just noticed you're a Taurus born April 20th... I was born April 30th, 1982. We'll have to get a drink and celebrate our b-days sometime.

You ever go around Freret St area? I have some great friends that just opened up a new burger restaurant there (The Company Burger), killer grub, if you ever are in that mood!

We don't really have it in the plans right now. The build-out of the big room is so damn expensive that it's pretty much encompassing the entire phase one of the project. Phase two if things go well would be a smaller B mix room, maybe a mastering suite, some ADR rooms, etc. Send me an email (matt@theparlorstudio.com) and stay in touch. Thanks.

Hey Matt. Hope all is moving along on your build.
Question. Will you have a production room for rent? I'm thinking of finding a room for rent in New Orleans. Would want to setup my console and gear to mix only. Side note I bought the RA Book on design. It's good. Thanks
