Glenn - thanks for commenting on my post the other day. As I revamp my terrible 3.5x5x7 vocal booth - I don't suppose I can save myself any time by using 4" foam traps in the corners? Are there any differences from one manufacturer to the other? I have some laying around from Foam Express. Guessing I should make sure "all" the interior is lined with 4" absorbing panels.

    Hi Glenn,
I need someone to direct me in my health related issue. Recently, I see a lot of dust in my studio and realized that it's because of my bass straps, which hanged from the ceiling. I got an air purifier, but don't think it's enough because I can still smell them.

Do you recommend to open the traps and wrap the rockwools in thin foams? Or use kind of hair spray to seal the down face of the traps where the dusts might fall from?
    Your help is so appreciated

My wife and I are researching different material for room treatment in our studio. She likes the idea of curtains because they look nice and can be very flexible. What is your thoughts on the use of "curtains" per se as sound absorbers.

Hi Glenn. I was curious about the REW program. Which version would work with a G5 running 10.5.8?

Hello Glenn - I was wondering if you would be willing to help me out with a couple questions on acoustic panels and building them.

Hey Glenn. Thank you for your critique on our room. The changes we made using your 244 bass traps have significantly changed the response of our room for the better. We have no ringing in our room and our mixes are translating better than ever.

    Hi Glenn,

hope your well my friend ! Just an update on my acoustic panels. Due to space I'm now thinking of not having as much panels as what i planned and trying to just have the essentials. So this is what I have got. Two panels with rockwool 60kg/M3 75mm and two panels with the same rockwool but with two slabs in each panel and now im now panning on making two triangle bass traps with one slab each and putting them at the top of the corners of the wall above where my desk will be.

It would be great to have the traps from top to bottom. But with the small triangle traps its idea for bedroom studio.

So my question to you is will this be enough for a small/medium room and where shall i put the other panels ? One either side of the monitors ? double panel at the back wall and double panel above the desk ?

    Hi Glenn,

Could you please give me the box dimensions for the GIK Tri-traps. I know two come in one box, but I need the box dimensions, not the tri-trap dimensions.

    Hello Glenn,

    My name is Rodrigo Coimbra.

I'm a 20 years old producer from Brazil and i'm beginning to design my new home studio. I've been checking Gearslutz and couldn't help noticing that you reply lots of people, so i decided to take a shot haha.

I have a 5x5x3M room, totally empty. I won't record anything, maybe a vocal once in a while but the focus is on monitoring. I've been thinking about split the room and get myself some small bedroom on it too. Well, my first idea was spliting a 3x5 control room and 2x5 bedroom.

I was wondering if you could "give me any light" about what is the best thing to do, i should really split the room. I'm sending a pic with the basic design (totally changable) and fake wall layouts.

Thank you very much for your time, and if you can't help me out i'll understand.
