"Who are those guys?" - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

(good choice)

Jay, do you remember that musician's BBS system I seem to recall you were on back in the 80's?

Do you mean Craig Anderton's SSS on AOL? Some other familiar folks were there, like Lynn Fuston. It was definitely a good place, but forums have come a long way since then (just look around).

Yeah, I remember Craig's it wasn't that one though. I seem to remember it being in Washington but forget the actual name of it. Ah well, things have progressed but some names stay the same, which is a good thing.

Does this mean we won't have any more anonymous people slamming greats like Bob Katz????

There's a lot of B.S. that gets by on the boards these days.

Different opinions, point of views and debate on different modus operandi will aways be welcome in the right context (i.e mastering)

Other issues like politics, general ethics, religion and so on have their place in other sections as we all know.

Personal attacks , offence, disrespect and childish backyard mentality like "I am /can do better than you" will hopefully not even manifest themselves.

We also have the Test forum where people can ask about mastering services in their area or within their budget.

We will all hopefully try our best to educate -and avoid making fun of people on a lower budget - the potential customer. No need to have circle around like sharks to get that gig or start fights, at least IMO......

Mastering is where you fix the mix!

And you'll need special techniques to do that!

Jokes apart..... have a look here:
Whats your definition of mastering?

Thanks to all for the welcome. Thanks to Jules for making the mastering forum permanent, and thanks to the great group of contributors we have here (that means you!).

Wow, above is my first official moderation duty: keeping the place tidy from accidental double hits of the send button...
