Has Anyone used it, and does anyone have any words about its performance?

I use it, its great. Never had any issues with it... never had anything rejected from a duplication plant, so I'd say it works fine.

Same results here, too. Been using SoundForge and CD Architect since they first came out. I've found CDA to be very easy to use and offers a great deal of flexibility!

now can sumone tell me this, i know there are several ways to do it during but is it possible to fade one song into another, as we often here, other wise im capable of doing it on when making the tracks, i was just wondering cause i also heard cd architect can do hidden tracks so i figured could be a possiblility.

Example.

4. song ends with talking that rolls over into 5.

You can do that and more. Automatic crossfading when you drag tracks into overlapping, and you can drag track start and stop times whereever you want without affecting the audio. You can basically do anything you want.

You can do it with a crossfade, but with CD Architect 5+ (I believe,) you can basically have two stereo tracks going at once, so you can mix without crossfade. Great stuff. thumbsup

Last time I tried that program (version 5 I think), it sounded grainy. I use a Pyramix mastering workstation and compared to that, CDA was obviously inferior. My files lost clarity and width. Math isnt so good I guess. Dont know if thats fixed now or not.

CD ARCHITECT definatley makes the sound grainier, but is that just in the listening stage.
They have PREVIEW, GOOD, and BEST options in the RESAMPLE QUALITY options.
I think that this is only in the listening stage and not the true sound of the wavs

If it is the true sound of the wav's - holy s--t. Were in trouble.
