| Which Version of Wavelab is right for me? Hey guys! I'm a local radio spot producer and we are getting to the point in our company that we can't outsource the mastering as much because there is too much coming in. I'm looking for poor mans mastering and have it narrowed down to Wavelab, but the problem is there are a few different versions of Wavelab and I dont know which one is for me. Perhaps you guys can help given the info below I do all of my recording and mixing through PT I need to track mark, trackcrossfade and burn I need to add loudness I need general comp's and EQ's With that said what do you guys think?

 | I think he's referring to the "lite" versions - "WL Essentials" and some other thingy... But seriously, the standard version of WL6 is a great product and you can use all your plugs and what not with it. I only use it in a very limited fashion (I'm a Samplitude type for the most part) but it's a very, very handy and well-implemented program.

| I dunno... You'll probably give up PT... It's pretty luscious being able to do everything start-to-finish in one program...

| If you want to use everything in one program Samp is the champ. If your still using PT then WL 6 is what I use. Vegas is another great program that does everything, but has a focus on multi-media and video apps. BaseJase Illynoise |

  | I use the Lynx AES 16 Like John...They work very well together. ( I have Samp 8 and Sequoia 8)..These two programs are answered prayers. Great included plugs, Object Editing...consistent upgrade price..
