First track in a long time that I want to turn louder on my system. Delilah-breathe

Hi guys and pro-seasoned mastering engineers, it's the first time in a very very long while that I am actually listening a track at low volumes and actually want to turn it loud and it feels really good. It doesn't even hurt the ears and it sounds big.

What is it that most mastering engineers are doing nowadays that make people want to turn down their volume knobs as it's so aggressive to the ears ?

What quality does this track have which sounds so clear, big, immersing, clear but not a pain in the ear ??

I know a few guys like Bob Clearmountain + his mastering engineer who could deliver a lush, loud, exciting and pleasing quality to the ears, but nowadays ... it's very rare.

Could someone(mixing/mastering engineer) put his finger on how to achieve this pleasing sonic quality ?

Btw it doesn't sound analog, but nevertheless sounds very sweet

Here is a youtube version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbsF4xchioo

I had a listen to this album a while back and some of the tracks had this "cinematic" mixing, mastering style indeed. At least the "Delilah - Inside My Love(Original Mix)" sounds very cinematic, and dude have a listen in a Flac version, it will blow you away.

It might have to do with the use of quite a lot reverb, the engineer having proper monitors which show harshness and therefore can be corrected, and it has to do with quite uncompressed elements(like in mixing for movies) + this surely hasn't been mixed or mastered by a kid who limits his tracks like hell or a mastering engineer who's whole purpose is making everything loud and distorted.
