Weiss EQ1 vs EQ1-LP

Hello!

I'm choosing between Weiss EQ1 and EQ1-LP. How effective Linear Phase mode?

Very, when you need it.

If you need it, I'd get it. We had it on ours. Lovely.

Not a very big deal. With very few exceptions, I almost always use minimum phase instead of linear phase for creative shaping work in mastering.

There is an opinion that Maselec MEA-2, notwithstanding it is analog, has a very similar sound to Weiss EQ-1. What do you think about it?
I don't have an opportunity to compare them.
