I am looking into the possibility of running a M-Audio Profire Lightbridge with an RME-ADI-4DD to convert ADAT S/MUX to AES-EBU to run 24bit 96kHz to & from ProTools LE M-Powered software. Has anyone had any experience with ADAT S/MUX at 24-96? Any clocking problems or potential problems that I should be aware of?

Matt

Is there a difference in quality between the RME HDSP AES-32 and the Lynx AES-16? Are there other options on the market? No firewire, no AD/DA, just a digital AES interface......

Thanks,

OJ
Totalmix, DIGICheck, and the Meter Bridge that ship with the RME could be deciding factors. Both Lynx and RME make great stuff...
