importing isrc codes to a master cd

hi all

someone asked me to import isrc codes to a master cd and reburn it. here there is only waveburner logic and cubase.

is it wierd to grab the cd with the daw and import them into waveburner or do i need different program.

It's not weird, just don't import them at the DAW because there's no need to process anything. Use a CD ripping software instead.

iTunes can do it, just remember to set the format to a WAV/AIFF and check the "Use error correction when reading Audio CDs" option.

Then load the tracks on Waveburner, insert the ISRC codes and it's done.

If you use iTunes then you should make sure that your drive can flag up C2 errors - otherwise iTunes won't see any errors that are present no matter what options you set.

Try to avoid using WaveBurner for anything critical. It's a bug ridden piece of shite.
