DDP image from Wave Editor - MD5 checksum does not match

I have been making DDP images in Wave Editor for years (many times) and everything perfect. Yesterday I sent DDP image to the plant and they wrote me MD5 is not equal ... I sent it again - the same. I made the DDP image again anew (exporting cue/wav from Samplitude etc.). Again the problem.

I wonder what this means ... They said it may be just ok (they checked image.dat etc., I sent them cue/wav itself and they said OK, but they need a written consent from me they can produce the CD in spite of MD5 mismatch.

Of course, it may be OK , but does not sound 100% OK. Can it be a problem of Wave Editor or Mac/Windows issue (they have Windows checking software there) or ?

What can be the resulting problem in the following CD pressing ? Can something get wrong ? How can I check this MD5 myself ? I downloaded some Mac MD5 software but it even did not recognised MD5 file from Wave editor as MD5 valid file ... (could not import ...)

I wrote to Wave Editor support and sent them the files, no response for the last two days.

After two days horror, we have finally found the culprit. I sent today my own CD DDP image to the plant and they again said- MD5 checksum does not match. This was already a bit crazy. I did not know what to do about it ... Finally I remembered that on Saturday I upgraded to Mountain Lion OSX. I got funny idea: I borrowed my son's Macbook Pro still with Lion, installed Wave Editor and did the DDP and sent it. MD5 sum was perfect (they said that the MD5 sum before was completely different number). So Mountain Lion is to blame. Why and what is going on there (and whether wave editor can be optimised for Mountain Lion), I don t know ...

Definitely let the Audiofile guys know, I've found a few issues with ML and Wave Editor myself they are working on.
