Fast spectrum analysis

What do you guys use to have a fast spectrum analysis of a stereo file in ProTools (for quick mastering use, for example) ?
I found the fastest way is to select the file, open Waves Paz Analyzer in Audiosuite and process the file. That gives you a fast analysis of the whole file, but of course it creates another file in the process.
Are there smarter ways to do this ? I'm sure there are...
Thanks

I think you're going to find that most just don't use one anyway.

Can't wait to read the new thread that sentence will probably cause on that one forum...

Samplitude has one that I use for calibration purposes -- Otherwise, I don't really care what a spectrum analyzer says.

Thank you John, I respect your opinion and those who don't use a spectrum analyzer.
So, let me rephrase my question: for those of you who use a plugin spectrum analyzer in ProTools, have you found a more practical way to get an analysis on a stereo file than the technique I described ?
Thanks
