digital sound magic studios - ??

anyone heard of these guys or know if their mastering is any good? the before/after example on the site sounds ok.

should i be skeptical of mastering houses that work on near field monitors w/ a sub. i guess that's what you get for under 400 USD right? i need a good house on a budget!

No reputable Mastering Studio is going to master on nearfields. Take a look at the top mastering studios. They're all in a decent room with full range speakers.
That's why a lot of "Mastering Studios" don't show you pictures of their setup.

I've mastered some of Rich's mixes, which are *really* good. I imagine that he brings the same vibe to his mastering, so it's worth a closer look. He's a good guy to deal with as well.
