Any opinion?
In a properly treated room of decent size, they sound great
Relatively speaking, they are super linear with a slight upward shelf towards the high end.

which is clearly visible from my signature btw., even though I´m actually a product manager for their distribution... I do not earn one single cent more, if someone buys a pair of LS1...I´m there for all technical questions only!

ps: and everyone who knows me, has probably realized that Im here on GS as a private person and gear nerd! I never push stuff into people´s throat as many others do... because I hate that....and YES these two systems are indeed the best I´ve heard so far, that´s my humble opinion!!

The funny thing is many of your posts I seem to disagree internally, but here I cannot, just having witnessed the ports\plugged ports (read:sealed) sound change in the low-end. Sealed is more real.

For mains I use a pair of full-range Landmark LSX monitor speakers as used by Sony Music Mastering, Australia, and for nearfield I'm about to get the Neumann KH 120 to replace a pair of Genelecs which I'm not sorry to see go.

Actually, the Neumanns will be replacing my KRKs which are still in their boxes. Probably not worth even opening the boxes.

Possibly the finest system I've ever heard included the Legacy Whisper speakers.

so current nearfield K&H O 300D's full range + SVS PB12+ @ <50hz
midfield B&W 803s on Crown XLS1000 amp, dirt cheap but really good (start to love the accuracy of class D type amps)

Proven concept: B&W N802's with a good old hypex ucd400 based amp with a benchmark DAC1. Still love it!

very detailed, less fatiguing than every speaker i worked on, perfect spectral balance, extremly accurate stereoimage & you can hear smallest amounts of eq changes.

I exactly feel the same Dan! They make me work much better. Perfect fellows for mastering and mixing.

Agreed. For some reason they manage to have a very detailed high-end but without being aggressive or tiring to listen to!

I just moved my PSI 25's to a bigger room and now I think I need a pair subs...

2 x psi 25 with 2x sub 225 must be a killer setup in a big room! my room is only 35qm (but 4 m high), distance to the speakers approx. 2m, in this location the 215's working perfect.

i tried to find additionaly a bigger speaker to place with more distance but comparing to the psi all of them sounds (sometimes impressive but) unbalanced, tiring or clumsy. most awfull was the sonics allegra, slow and gross.

i try now the a.o.s. s100 tl mk2 and would like to hear the tyler d1 - just as a supplement to the psi.

Are the PSi 25 enough for a good size room? I was under impression they were more of a mid field than full range

They have plenty of power if that is what you are asking. So much so that I have the sensitivity trim permanently turned down 20 dB to tame them in. Even so, on regular modern mastered music my main playback volume control rarely passes the halfway point. This is in a nearish-mid field setup.

I'm not even sure I need subs. I guess I got used to the bump in the low-end frequency response in the old smaller room. So I'll probably get some at some point. I will see how things sound when I've done works here.

The previous room was very small: About 3m by 4m. The new room is currently 4.3m by 5.8m but after some works (removing two walls) it will be about 5.8 by 9m. Obviously the low-end is much more even in the bigger room and should get even better after proper acoustic treatment.

Mine are the Evolution Acoustics MM3. Here's a pic.
The chain is Playback Designs MPS-5 or MSB Diamond DAC to an EMM Labs Switchman 3

The woofers are powered so all the Pass Labs amps have to push are the MTM. Freq response is 7Hz to 40k
