Anyone in Northern Va area using Soundblade?

Specifically the new version on a Mac?
Would be interested in paying for your time to check it out working with outboard gear and all.
Trying to decide on new platform.

Thanks.

Using sB HD 2.0 here daily for mastering tasks.

There's lots of us MEs out there using sB.

Solid as a rock, works and sounds great.

Yes it easily does a round trip to an analog EQ loop and back.

In a 4 channel configuration, your Source material goes on the bottom two panels, recording is done to the top Destination panels. You route it accordingly out to your analog hardware and back. There are also slots to drop in plug-ins if needed.

Mac Pro (original), OSX 10.6.8, 8GB RAMM, Lynx AES-16e I/O.

I can answer a few questions, time permitting.

You might contact Sonic for a demo liscense.

Best, JT

Do you have a Mac and an iLok?
