Forssell MADA Digital Out and metering

Have added a Forssell MADA for use in my mastering chain.
I have some questions regarding the digital output of the unit.
I use the AES output of the MADA to feed my capture computer.
I am using the SPDIF to feed a Mac Mini that runs my Spectra Foo metering program.
As far as I understand these two outs can be used simultaneously and both see the exact same signal.....correct?
The strange thing I have run into is that my metering program no longer is able to count digital overs.
Spectra Foo gives you two readings on digital overs. The first number tells you how many samples over full scale you are and the second number tells you how many times you have exceeded the full scale threshold. With the MADA I only get the odd one or two samples over DFS and never get any readings on the second counter...... even when I purposely push past 0DFS .
Am I missing something?
I have run my standard calibration tests and all of my metering responds as per normal except the digital overs with the MADA in line
I have put my Mytek converters back in line and my overs are as per normal.......if I exceed 0DFS the meters tell me information on both counters. Any thoughts from MADA users? Thanks!

Could there be a software limiter in the MADA circuit somewhere? If that is the case, I would rather have the option to be able to bypass it. Maybe Fred will weigh in.

I have noticed similar behaviour, my hardware meter following the MADA2 does not report overs, even when the ADC's over light is triggered.

It more likely just never reaches full code that the meter is looking for.

I think it has a -0.1dBFS output to prevent downstream metering from triggering overs much in the same way you can set the output on the Lavry Gold. I'll point Fred to this page to confirm.
