Mastering with Barefoot MM27

Hey folks!

Im rebuilding my studio and are probably going to pull the trigger on a Barefoot MM27 for mixing and mastering..

Does anyone feel the need for or use the micromain sub to have complete control over the low end ? ... or is this overkill with these monitors.

I guess Thomas designed these subs for a reason ?

Any experiences are appreciated ....

I've been mastering on the MM27 for a couple years and love them. The low end is big and balanced with no need for additional subs. why mess with perfection?? you will not be disappointed. I'd sink the $ for an additional sub into room treatment instead.
