Cubase LE5 Question.

Hello, I got a little question for someone who knows pretty much about cubase.

I'm learning to mix/master now on cubase but i cant seem to find the master fader?
Is there a way to add a master fader to your mixboard? I need it for some slight EQ and compression.

Thanks in advance!

'F3'. Master fader is on the far right by default.

Thanks for your reaction!

But.... If i press the F3 button, it opens my mixer? (all the track channels)
But i dont need the mixer, i just need the master track.

I dont know, maybe Cubase doesnt have the option, that could be an option to.
But for instance, like in Pro Tools, you can do it like this:
"Add Track > Master Track."
And than you can send all your tracks to that master track(you just made), by buss, and than you can also put inserts on your master track, like for instance an overal-comproser.

Any other ideas?

Robin, the master track "is" on the far right of your mixer. It is called 'Stereo Out' by default. You can insert effects on it.
Unless I am misunderstanding your intentions, there is no need to create a master track in cubase. The Stereo out is the final buss (2bus). You can create another output buss via 'F4', Outputs>Add Bus. But it would just be a second 'Master Track (Stereo Out)' option, or used for sending to different out's on your interface for outboard gear or whatever. There is a scroll bar at the bottom of the mixer. Maybe you just didn't look all the way to the right?

Thanks Jimmy!

I called in a friend of mine to look at the problem, and it seemed you were right.
The only thing was, that the Inserts were set on "invisable" so i only say my Master Fader EQ, and that was the reason why i needed a second master track, hoping that i see my inserts than.
But the problem is solved now, they are visable.

Thanks for helping!
