Antelope Eclipise Mastering converter/interface

This looks very nice for mastering!

Finally someone has made a 4 channel DAC/2 channel AD with stepped monitoring control in one lovely looking unit.

Interesting.

I wonder if the monitoring DAC is the exact same circuit/design as the processing DAC or a trimmed/light/inferior version. Only saw two meters, presumably one for the primary DAC and one for the ADC; no meter for the second DAC?

They're definitely shooting for the low- to mid-tier mastering market with the integrated M/S and LFE/subwoofer outputs.

Looking forward to hearing more details about this product, though.

The DAC's are identical (no shortcuts taken). The meters are assignable to any of the analog ins/outs. We're shooting for ALL levels of mastering. It doesn't mean the highest end users will use every feature, but the Trinity clocking and A/D alone are enough to have several top flight guys looking into this. Some are already using the DAC in the Zodiac and this is as good or better.

Thanks very much for the interest guys. It's shipping very soon.
