Best Noise Reduction tool?

What are the various noise reduction tools that you guys use for various things? I'm thinking of vinyl transfers, post-film work, etc... As it stands all I have is the built in noise reduction in Logic, and I tried the demo of the one that comes with PT, but they induce some pretty bad artifacts at times.

The Algorithmix Pro Plugs are pretty amazing... For non-high-res audio (ie 44.1/48K), I also use a GML9550 hardware box.

I also have the TC Powercore restoration plugs. They are great in some cases and not so great in others...

On the cheap side = Sony Noise Reduction 2.0

More spendy = Cedar Restoration. It's what I use and wouldn't use anything else.

Cedar and Sonic NoNoise are the classics and still among the best. Sonic hasn't added new features in a while like other companies have, but the product is still one of the best quality clean up tools. Newcomers to take note of include Algorithmix. ReNOVAtor is on my short list of things to buy this year.

That Cedar device with the remote with sliders on it is amazing...

Not my field, but I was knocked out when I heard a demo

People should keep in mind that sometimes the right eq setting can absolutely trounce all of the expensive high-tech noise reduction routines.

That is what I like about the 9550 (similar idea to the Cedar DNS1000). You have sliders where you can hit the noise reduction different amounts at different frequencies. I find with it, I usually hit the high frequencies harder than the low frequencies and can get great results...
