A question please for you mastering guys; Did something change in the way you master records in the time you've been at it, and if so, what? Thanks for your time! thumbsup |

The dreaded DAW. On the bright side I now listen to an album in it's entirety before I begin to master it much more often than I used to. This gives you a chance to get a feel for the general direction of the record and which of the mixes sound best and which need the most help. Very informative. On the not so bright side my clients and I can now spend many more hours obsessing over minute editing details and second guessing ourselves nutty. Oh well. C'est la vie. | |
