FS: Neumann vinyl mastering system

No joke here. This has been one of the most difficult decisions for me, personal circumstances require me to let it go:

a] VMS70/SX74/SAL74/ZUMA SOLD
b] SP75 desk SOLD
c] Many, Many spares SOLD

Prefer to sell complete, but will separate as outlined by letters above.
WILL NOT SELL SX74 ALONE.

I will enter into a dialog with serious parties only, and a price can be determined depending on what is bought. I know exactly what is involved with crating and shipping this system, but will not entertain offers that include actual transport, due to the volatility of that market. I may include dissassembly and crating into a bundle price if the offer is right.

Seattle location makes this perfect for buyer in the PNW, BC, or SF- but also close to port!

This situation came up strictly for personal family reasons-as happens in life. We willl re-organize, but obviously some lucky person will be cutting vinyl on our system, so we will be out of that particular game, at least for now. In my opinion the redbook cd will die soon, in the wake of file based digital distribution, leaving vinyl one of the only types of traditional tangible media for music. Be ready

I hear that! I've been saying the same thing for years. Anyhow, best of luck to you man. I hope everything works out. If you don't mind, maybe I could pick your brain about vinyl mastering sometime.

Sure thing, and as an aside, if anyone on the west coast buys my rig and are cool, some training just might be available thumbsup

Many of my 'spares' have been spoken for, but the complete working system is still available. Check this deal:

Excellent VMS70 + Zuma pitch computer / SX74 / SAL74 / complete with 6 new styli and the very rare styli inspection/insertion scope expertly dis-assembled** and crated, ready for your shipping company to pick up and deliver to you for a package price of $SOLD

I have seen a few lathes cheaper, but seriously doubt you will find a better complete cutting package in this price range. You don't want one without a Zuma do you? Or have to go source the stylli scope somewhere, or buy helium regulators and vacuum systems, or wonder how to put it together due to poor documentation........you get the point I am sure, as it is easy to spend a ton of cash getting a system going if it is not in good working order.

Located in Seattle, a major sea port, which helps with global shipping.

**assembly on your site may be available, as well as some training, for an additional fee
