Freeware MP3 ISRC tagger

I found this handy little freeware app that seems to easily add an ISRC to an MP3:

Kid3 - ID3 Tagger

Could someone who knows about these things do me a flavor and check this MP3 to see if the ISRC code is properly attached?

Thanks a million! ........... D

Just went home for the weekend, but if nobody else has checked for you in the meantime I'll do it on Monday.

Why not get Jaikoz Audio Tagger It's just £20 and quite versatile - and you'll be able to confirm what you're doing...

Great, thanks a lot, appreciated, i guess it works fine - and the price is right! thumbsup

Kinda annoying that Sequoia doesn't do this automatically when you export an MP3 (i'm on 10, perhaps they fixed it in 11?)

That is truly a GREAT application. I have tried many including Jaikoz, and this one is simple and effective. I had difficulty getting irsc added as the mp3's athat didnt have one didnt have a line for isrc in gui and I coudn'e figure how to add one, so I opened one that I knew did, and sure enough it was ther, so I just used the copy button, then went to the one I nneded to tyag and hit paste, it overlayed all the data from the previous and I edited the lines etc, then hit save -it worked great also you can just drah the album photo thumbnail andthere is is when you play it
Thanks

Is it simply a case of adding an ID3 field called 'ISRC'?

I'm probably missing the big picture here, but why put an ISRC on an mp3?

In a downloadable file where else can you put your "this belongs to me" ?
so that you can (at least in theory) be identified as the artist who receives payment. (same as isrc in a .cda file) ISRC's don't get transferred when you rip from .CDA to MP3 so they have to be added in.
I know that every time I get a data info sheet for a new song from the digital distributer they want me to fill in he IRSC space so thay too can re-encod it for their downloadable sales.
