Problem ITB Mix too loud

Hi all,

I messed up with a mix, and when I took away the compressors on the master bus I realized that the mix is gently peaking at +2....
I would like to keep the mix as it was quite complex.
Can a ME fix that during mastering if I export the track 44.1 hz 32 bit floating rate or do I have to do a new mix? (Or eventually, can I work in 32 bit and simply lower the master level?)
Sorry for the basic question but I never ran into this problem and I found hard to perfectly understand the PC theory I found on the net.

I thank you by now for any suggestion!

Put a gain plugin on the master bus and bring down the overall volume.
