Thread Starter | Parameters for Sound cards/ What makes a great sound card?
What are suggested requirements for a good sound card for mastering audio? Are there certain parameters I should look for? If so, what are they? What have you found useful in your work experience? Any links to website guides and videos would be of great help to me, as I try to further my education. Thanks! |

Since you're not going to be using a sound card with onboard converters it's mainly about driver stability and connections (W/C, AES/EBU, S/PDIF, ADAT, etc.), and certainly a PCIe card. I can recommend the RME AES or maybe RayDAT. http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_...ss_list#intern
