Thread Starter | SoundBlade with RME HDSPeAIO
sorry if this has been asked before. I am upgrading from Sonic HD to SoundBlade soon. I just wonder if it works well with RME HDSPeAIO. Please advise. I just need two channel AES I/O. Thanks a lot. ![]() Soloan |

It should work with any interface with a driver that can be selected from your Sound control panel. So if you can play iTunes through it, it will work with sB.

Soundblade is a step down from Sonic HD IMHO.

sB 1.3.5 works great here with the Lynx AES16e card on my Mac Pro. Far more logical, less cluttered than WaveLab 7! JT

WaveLab does take a bit of nailing and WL7 is a little weird to use even for me. (been using WL6 for a year and a half now)! I still use sB for playback on a macpro via a Lynx AES 16. Works great on that!

I do like some of the features of WL though, despite it's dated cluttered interface. Being a Mac DAW omnivore has it's moments :-) JT

I've kinda settled into the sB Pitcher and WL6 Catcher workflow and really like it a lot! Also using Sonoris DDP Creator for burning. All three apps are solid as a rock for what I'm using em for!
