I briefly demoed it at AES here in 2009. It was laid out nicely and sounded good over a full mix in the headphones - but obviously this is not a way or place to get an accurate assessment of its quality by any means. Still - from the few minutes I spent with it it definitely seemed worthy of getting a unit in to the studio to demo if you were looking for another dynamic processing option for your rack (unlike my first impression of the Shadow Hills Mastering Comp when I was there which to me ergonomically felt incredibly clumsy, and which I couldn't get a satisfying sound dialed in over headphones in the brief time I spent with it). Luckily I feel pretty satisfied with the 3 compressor options I already have and am currently not in the market for another one - but if I was I would certainly include the Anamod 670 on my short list.

Best regards,
Steve Berson
