Garlic salt

Another Q that I don't really know where to put; this could fall under the cat of "Mastering"...

Ok, so what is "Garlic Salt"? Is that "inside terminology", or a not-so-commonly-used but known industry term? I can imagine that it would by synonymous to "add some flavor"; if that is true, of what variety?
