Thread Starter | Waveburner not recognising sound card
Apologies if I've posted in the wrong forum, but as I've seen many Waveburner threads in this forum, I thought I'd post here. I'm on an early 2008 8-core Mac Pro, OSX 10.64, I want to run Waveburner out through my small Edirol UA-25, but the soundcard isn't available as one of the options on Waveburner's sound output drop-down menu. As a result the audio just plays out through the built-in Mac Pro speaker... I've just read about creating an Aggregate Device, with all the Mac's built-in audio ins and outs, as well as my interface ins and outs, but even after doing so (or attempting it!), Waveburner still doesn't recognise the interface :( Has anyone else here experienced this? Is there a solution that I've missed? My UA-25 driver are up-to-date. Thanks in advance! |

Go to your Mac preferences and set the edirol card as the core audio output. Then anything assigned to core audio should play through the edirol- even if it doesn't come up in the Waveburner options.
