Thread Starter | Can I master from a multi track digital recorder like a Zoom 16 tr
I am about to buy a Zoom 16track digital recorder and want to know if the final burned product will be considered mastered. Some of the recorders offer a mastering function. If I get one that offers a specific mastering routine would that equal real mastering at a facility? Thanx for the help in advance |

You could, however, take a stereo mix (aka "bounce") from it to be mastered, although if it's the MRS1608 I think it offers only 16bit/44.1k. Still, it might sound better than from, say, a Roland VS880/1680/2480.
