White book ?

Hi folks,
Bit out of my depth on this one...I have a customer who has recorded 50 mins of music(8 tracks). Normally burn with Isrc Job done. However he wants to add a small video of the band playing to the CD too. He wants to sell it as an Audio Cd, but with the bonus of video if someone put it into their computer.
The replication people told him it needs to be White book? I thought a mixed mode or multi session (Looking at google) but thought it best to ask here for a definitive answer thumbsup

Thanks

I've always done these with Toast as an Enhanced CD and had no issues with any duplicator.

As far as I know, White Book refers specifically to a video CD.

Basically it depends on where the data track (video) is located. Standard Mixed Mode CD's have the data track at first on track 1, the audio starting at track 2.

This is often unwanted by artists, they prefer to have the data track as the last one. In Nero this is called CD Extra.

You must be sure to print the master as Disc-At-Once.

So far I had never any problems with replication plants.

I'd think you don't want white book, but rather blue book.
