Could you use a special highs controller?

Just thought this would be useful specifically to professional mastering engineers, and since it's a freebie and I just did a picture of it in SPAN that's pretty startling...

With my compliments, 'Slew2' Audio Unit. It's a slew clipper, but with special antialiasing. Dave Collins hated this technique used in a dither years ago, but it's much better used this way...

It's just got one control, which you move to the right to whack more glare and near-Nyquist energy, basically like a filter (though it has no pre-ring- pretty sure it has some post ring but I haven't tried it on Dirac impulses or anything)

If you take raw white noise (shown in SPAN very much as you see it in this picture, continuing the 'angle' to intersect with Nyquist where you'd expect) and you hit it with Slew2 cranked all the way, you get this picture. Enjoy. Like I said in the other thread- I swear I didn't photoshop this, it really does that.
