wave editor - UPC must be 13 character?

HEy!

I am trying to export a DDP image from Audiophile Engineering's Wave Editor.

The problem I am having is that it won't accept my UPC code, it says

"The UPC/EAN code must be exactly 13 characters in order to be used"

My UPC code which I got from disc makers is 12 digits (just like most CD UPC codes)

What am I doing wrong?

Is adding presence the same as subtracting absence?

To maintain compatibility with EAN codes you need to add a leading zero to 12-digit UPC codes.
