Thread Starter | Bout' to finish mastering some heavy drop c ALT, master track options?
Aight, this is my first full band. They in drop C. I want the bottom end to stay full if I have to compress on the master or add a limiter. Im at unity right now and there is no clips. So im thinkin I try and take it to +1 db and watch for clips and then add a limiter, right now its sonalksis multilimiter. no clips. Do i need compression on the master track with heavy music?? what is a standard drop C screamin type setup for the master??

I find what you say confusing... although I feel as if the answer would be "do what sounds best, not what sounds loudest" Why not post a clip instead? |
