Sonoris MEQ?

What do you guys think about it?

Need a good Software EQ and am doing some demo's.

Tried this for the first time today and really like it so far!

I downloaded a demo a couple of weeks ago, was hugely impressed, with a few niggles, and have found myself now in conversation with Pieter. He's one of those developers who listens to his client base and reacts with incredible speed. Having said that, my own main interest is in the parallel EQ (SPEQ) - the MEQ is extremely good for its type - a very flexible, high-quality LP design; the parallel is of a type I still don't quite understand, but which is pretty unique - extremely useful for clarity-enhancing mastering work. I used (and reviewed) but never bought the Algorithmix EQ's - the Sonoris MEQ is easily in that league.

Cheers,

Eric

I'm a big fan of all the Sonoris products - Pieter is an excellent coder and provides equally excellent customer service.

Best regards,
Steve Berson

i'm really impressed with it.

the only other eq i've been hearing about recently is the flux.

i may try that one as well but i'm pretty happy with the sonoris.

DMG Audio eQuality is really nice IMO. Always liked the Sonalksis stuff, and the DMG is just a little more open for lack of a better or more original word.

You might want to try the DDMF LP10. Its quality is very close to that of the the Sonoris MEQ, and better than PSP Neon etc., at least to my ears. And it's only $ 15.
All the DDMF plugs are among the best plugs currently available, and for the price they are a complete no-brainer.

I tried the Sonoris demo and loved it as well, but it crashed my PC a couple times with the higher quality settings (but that seems to be a pattern with me )

Anyways, I loved it. The sound is great, really smooth IMO. Selectable M, S, L/R, L+R per band, and selectable linear/minimum phase EQ per band as well. This flexibility is amazing, and really gives you more control over the individual elements in the mix if you need it.
