New York Mastering Studio Seeks Assistant Engineer

Job Description:
Mastering Studio in New York, NY seeks an individual for the position of Assistant Engineer- looking to fill this position immediately! We are looking for a motivated self starter. Must be dedicated, professional & have solid references. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting/observing mastering engineer, taking notes, source checking, recalling, tech/maintenance, printing, making production masters, answering phones and directing calls.
Excellent communication, organization and the ability to multitask and follow procedures is a must! Would prefer 1+ years experience in a professional studio as an audio engineer. Experience with Pyramix is preferred. Please submit resume via e-mail.

Qualified candidates should have a background in audio engineering and demonstrate a passionate, organized and hard working demeanor.

Skills and experience include:

-Basic music theory background
-Mac friendly

-Savvy with internet research
