a Thermionic culture phoenix or a DW Fearn VT7

I really wanne buy one of these

I don't like the Manley vari mu because of it's colour in the low mid

to give you the direction what I like

my favourite hardware Eq's are 9098 I have a Chandler LTD 1 which I prefer as a pre amp

I have Tk audio compressor which is nice but really want a comp with more analog warmth but still pristine

I wanne make a great analog master channel starting from the dangerous music 2 bus the 2 9098's Thermionic or DW Fearn 2 LTD 1 TK audio and aural exciter

my favourite in the box eq are brainworx favourite comp the Glue

Can anyone advice me on which I could buy best

Cheers, thanx for the advice

........................don't know anything about the Fearn but I own a phoenix and you would have to prise it out of my cold dead hands, magificent on vocals, adds great depth and colour on the mix bus if your mixes suffer from being flat and cold it's great but you do have to be careful not too feed it too many low mids, get one with sidechain option if you can.

I have heard both although I don't have day to day experience with them........ they are both fabulous. Try to get a demo of both at the same time. You will probably choose one and long for the other ............
