How to route digital input signal in samplitude

My normal mastering chain goes out analog from aurora to outboard stuff then comes back analog to aurora.Yesterday I wanted to connect the returning signal to Aes inputs, but could not manage to record it into samplitude. So the question is:

How do i route the digital input (AES) signal returning to Aurora, to the record bus of the samplitude?

thanks in advance

We assume you currently get from the DAW to the Aurora with a lightpipe interface or similar?

Whatever that interface is (PCI, PCMCIA, etc) you'd need to change that to something that works with AES I/O.

Make sure you have your digital inputs activated in Samp. the default setup is for 8 I/O regardless of your sound card/interface.

From there, you should be set to get your signals in and out with ease.
