Waveburner:Hybrid cd?(Audio+data)

Hi I realise that I haven't had to do this since I started using Waveburner (I once did it with Toast): is it possible to burn a red book cd with an extra data bonus? With toast you can do the classic hybrid, after you burn the cd you see two disc images on the desktop, one is the audio content the other one the bonus data.Waveburner tricks anyone?Couldn't find anything on topics...
Thanxxx

Pretty simple.

When you go to the Burn menu in WB, select "Write as session" and burn the audio portion of the disc.

This leaves the disc "open ended".

Then go to Toast, select Data mode, add the enhanced content and finish burning the disc.

Be sure and check the PC compatible option.

That should do it.

As far as I know this is not correct......you should burn master CDs in DAO mode not TAO.....

I addressed the problem in a way that I sequence everything in Waveburner.....spacing, crossfades etc....and then I export regions and load them in Toast with 0 sec pause between them and burn the master CD in Enhanced audio CD mode.....works without any problems.....

Jerry was not advising to burn at Track At Once (which should never be done for Red or Blue Book spec masters) - instead he was saying to burn SAO - Session At Once twice - with an initial audio session at DAO, but leaving the disc "open" or "unfinalized" - and then a second data session.

O.K., I tried that several times and my burner/Toast never recognized the "open ended" audio CD I burned that way, when I tried to burn additional data in Toast...........I always get the message that disc is not blank and the burn option is not available.....any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

I have external Plextor Premium burner.....

Thanks in advance,

Gregor Z
