Add convolution reverb after mixdown?

Normally I use a little reverb on individual tracks as needed.... acoustic music: guitar, vocal, up to four tracks total....very little verb, 12% small room wet on vocal, 4% on guitar. In a case like this does anyone have any opinions on mixing dry and adding a little room convolution reverb (Altiverb, in my case) on the entire mixdown instead?

Thanks.

Led by pure logic - If enough reverb is added during mixing why to add more in mastering?

If you're trying to make them sound like they are in the same space, Id setup the verb on an aux and buss the appropriate levels from each track..

If you do it like that then make sure you're doing the mastering on the master bus, not the actual track.

Of course it's a technical possibility, but odds are you'll end up with something that will sound like it was reproduced in a particular environment (like played back on monitors in a room) rather than performed there. It's a fine nuance, but one nonetheless.
