Thread Starter | Laser Scanned Audio Archive
Hello all, I'm new to this site and have a quick question. I'm looking for a company or product that can do a laser scan of old vinyl or cylinders for hi quality archive/reproduction. I'm pretty sure this technology exists and is far superior to the "line in" AD technique. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

There's the ELP laser turntable for playing discs. Phonograph Makers Pages website gives a list of modern cylinder players including laser scanning cylinder players near the top of the page. I don't know if this is of any help to you. |
