Totally agree - it's a great tool for interconnectivity and distribution; also, as I've recently become aware, it's a great social connector.

Re: the embedded mini-player...not available on GSlutz yet.

I just uploaded a track in Soundcloud and noticed it sounded distorted and at a lower level, I checked the track using soundflower input in Logic, Surprise is
-3 db, I went to the F.A.Q. in Soundcloud and I found this:
Why does my song sound glitchy?
This rarely happens but if it does, we suggest uploading in 320kbps 44.1kHz with at least -3db of headroom.
This will produce the best results. MP3s will have more pronounced recoding artifacts and lossless formats will be slightly better.

I uploaded a track at -3db and it souds way better.

Since SC doesn't accumulate by filesize, but by minutes, you might be better off uploading the aiff or wav. I find it sounds better that way.
