I just uploaded a track in Soundcloud and noticed it sounded distorted and at a lower level, I checked the track using soundflower input in Logic, Surprise is -3 db, I went to the F.A.Q. in Soundcloud and I found this: Why does my song sound glitchy? This rarely happens but if it does, we suggest uploading in 320kbps 44.1kHz with at least -3db of headroom. This will produce the best results. MP3s will have more pronounced recoding artifacts and lossless formats will be slightly better. I uploaded a track at -3db and it souds way better. Regards. |

Since SC doesn't accumulate by filesize, but by minutes, you might be better off uploading the aiff or wav. I find it sounds better that way.
