Thread Starter | Convolution Reverb & Trouble Frequencies
I just started playing around with the SIR1 Convoution Reverb to create drone pieces and have had several problems with certian frequencies spiking. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove or lower the trouble frequencies? I normally use Sound Forge 8 & Adobe Audition 1.5 to master tracks. Here's a portion of a track in question I'm having issues with. Thanks in advance. http://fs05n5.sendspace.com/dl/d521d...v9z5v/test.wav |

I don't mean to sound like a smart-ass (honestly!), but, um...maybe EQ?

Make sure that your impulses for Sir1 has the same sample-rate as your project. The SRC of Sir1 is really poor. If your impulses don't match your project use Sound Forge, Adobe Audition or your favorite SRC to change the sample-rate of your impulses. All the Best Herbeck |

thanks for your feedback. the sample rate is the same on both and I haven't had much luck with eq (it may be because I'm not certain which frequencies are causing the trouble). I just started trying to master some things myself so we're talking nooby. |
