MTV To Launch New Track Upload Program For 'Rock Band'

Meh. There's already lots of tools out there to modify and create your own Guitar Hero / Rock Band DVDs, and control every aspect down to the finest detail.

Maybe they are trying to get some of the control over the content back, as well as "scrape" the data on what people are uploading for future versions of those games. Which is a good idear.

Props to them for working with Reaper too. Looks cool. For me - custom streamed user content is always where it's at, for any game I've ever played that has it.
