Awesome.

He should have some great insight with a background rooted in producing, mixing (Ozomatli's Embrace The Chaos is stellar, The Mavericks, Soul Asylum), and most recently mastering (Jonas Brothers, Sound Liberation, Buckwheat Zydeco).

Looks like they're featuring another mastering bloke as well "Jerry Tubb". I've heard good things about him.

McNair in Texas? Don't Texans spontaneously shout "New York City?!?" in unison whenever presented with such a thing?

Well, that should be cool. Dave's good people, and like e-cue said, should be great for the talk.

JT, are you the other mastering panelist? Or are you the host/moderator/MC of the talk?

I'll try to send you a T-shirt to wear that day. <g>

Not only will I be revealing my Waves presets, I'm going to tell exactly how you get records loud.

I'll be there for comic relief, and to throw in my 2 cents.

It'll be great to see McSnare again, it's been a few years.

At least JT!

But I am so bummed now. My arm got twisted to play a date out of town that night. It is for a good friend in a bind so I gave in.

But man I was looking forward to seeing you and Dave, and learning how the big boys do things....Such a cool opportunity....and only twenty minutes from the house....ARGGHHH!!!!

Y'all have a good time!

TD

Dave's presentation in NYC a few weeks back was great! If you are in the area, I highly recommend getting out and attending!
