Thread Starter | Dale Pro Audio and Masterdisk Host Free Mastering Seminar in NYC Dale Pro Audio and Masterdisk Host Free Mastering Seminar in NYC (I posted this on the new product forum too, but I thought the mastering forum might be more appropriate.) Dale Pro Audio will be hosting a Free Mastering Seminar on Thursday, July 16th at our New York City Showroom. Masterdisk's Dave McNair will be speaking about his tips and techniques, How to tell when your mixes are ready for 'Prime Time', and taking questions. Dave is most recently known for mastering The Jonas Brothers' "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times" (which at the time of posting is #1 on the Billboard 200). Great idea. Dave's a very accomplished mastering professional, and a proper southern gentleman. People might learn a thing or two.

Wish I could be there as I'm sure Dave will give a very nicely informative talk but Kronos Quartet is giving a free concert in Prospect Park at that time as well. Best regards, Steve Berson |

My friend Ken runs the sound for that Celebrate Brooklyn concert series. . . I was working the day of the David Byrne concert, and even though I was listening to most of it from a side-fill, Such Fun! Man Kronos will be a good time too! Get there early  I'm interested in that Mastering Seminar .. shooting you an email as we speak.  |
